Why should I become an ambassador?

Becoming a Start Her Enterprise Ambassador is a powerful way for individuals to contribute to SHE vision. You can help to:

  • Advocate for Gender Equality: As an ambassador, you can actively advocate for a more equitable world by helping to amplifying the voices of women entrepreneurs and helping to share their stories with the UK audience.
  • Amplify Impact: By spreading the word about SHE, you can amplify the organisation’s impact. Your advocacy can help reach more women entrepreneurs, attract more support, and create a larger network of empowered individuals.
  • Inspire Others: As an ambassador, you have the opportunity to inspire others to get involved in philanthropy and gender equality. Your passion and commitment can motivate friends, family, and colleagues to join the cause.
  • Networking Opportunities: Being a SHE Ambassador provides networking opportunities with like-minded individuals who share your commitment to empowering women in entrepreneurship. You can connect with a diverse and supportive community.
  • Join a Community: Becoming a Start Her Enterprise Ambassador means joining a supportive and passionate community of individuals who share your commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment. You can collaborate, share ideas, and learn from one another.
  • Help Shape the Future: As an ambassador, you have the opportunity to provide input and insights into Start Her Enterprise’s strategies and events.

It’s an opportunity to be a part of a movement that is making a lasting impact and doing development differently.

“The barriers I have faced as a working woman are nothing to what the women who are supported by SHE are going through, so when I was approached by SHE to work alongside them as an ambassador I could not have been more honoured.

My work has been a constant source of empowerment, self-esteem, purpose, achievement and identity throughout my career and the importance of the financial independence it has given me has been instrumental. The values and mission statement of SHE match my core beliefs around the rights of women and I can't wait to start working with them” Abi Wright, CEO and Co-Founder of Spabreaks.com, Europe’s no 1 online Spa booking company.

I am honoured to work with the SHE movement. I've been a journalist for 15 years and I wish I had more role models and women paving the way that I could look up to over those years. Now, it's the perfect opportunity for me to pave the way for some women and be a part of them achieving their goals.

I want to show my daughter that anything is possible and that incredible things happen when women support each other. I am so excited to see the difference that SHE will make in this post-COVID19 world and far beyond."
